Overview:

Sammons Financial Group is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our Human Resources team in West Des Moines, Iowa or Sioux Falls, South Dakota! You will manage full-cycle recruiting across a variety of roles, with a primary focus on technical positions. You will also own recruitment marketing in partnership with Corporate Marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process by managing job postings, sourcing qualified candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, and managing the offer process.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and hiring leaders.

• Maintain a positive candidate experience through clear, timely communication and efficient coordination throughout the recruiting and hiring process.

• Partner with hiring leaders to understand talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. 

• Proactively source candidates through multiple channels and build a strong, diverse pipeline for current and future openings. 

• Own recruitment marketing in partnership with Corporate Marketing. Develop and execute strategy, create compelling targeted job ads and campaigns that build a diverse, high quality talent pipeline, and measure and optimize performance using channel analytics. 

• Manage external recruitment marketing partners and platforms—including LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed. 

• Apply expert knowledge in talent acquisition to administer and manage programs, policy and process and deliver a high-quality employee experience.
• Apply expert knowledge in talent acquisition to accomplish strategic initiatives and projects related to annual team goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Management Preferred
  • 3-5 years' HR experience Preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant work experience Preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in broader body of HR work (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Employee Relations and Employment Law) Preferred
  • Exhibits advanced and specialized capabilities in recruiting 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and coaching skills
  • Demonstrated influencing skills and ability to engage and exchange ideas, coach or counsel all levels of management
  • Progressive growth in leading and mentoring HR team members
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Effective presentation creation and delivery skills
  • Proven ability to develop long-range plans for the department
  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within the department, across the organization and with external customers
  • Strong capabilities to analyze, interpret and apply data
  • Active affiliations with appropriate HR networks and organizations and ongoing community involvement preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, under pressure, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated ability in maintaining a high level of confidentiality
  • Some travel required

Pay Range:USD $60,119.00 - USD $112,722.00 /Yr.Pay Transparency Verbiage:

Range includes data points from multiple labor markets. Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position. Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience. For a narrower salary range specific to your labor market, please inquire.
