Under the direction of designated staff, performs assigned duties that aid in the overall educational experience of the intern.

Located on the downtown Orlando Health campus, Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies,
part of the Orlando Health Women’s Institute, provides specialized care that covers all facets of women’s health,
from comprehensive gynecological services and minimally invasive surgeries to general obstetrics and high-risk
pregnancies and births. One of the nation’s largest-volume and most experienced obstetrical centers, we welcome
nearly 14,000 babies each year. Our 350-bed hospital includes 142 neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) beds, one of
the largest NICUs in the nation. Our hospital is nationally recognized for excellence, with Magnet® designation for
high-quality nursing care from the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 2013, Level IV Maternal Levels of Care
Verification from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and The Joint Commission, Advanced

Education/Training

through completion of a high school education.
