ARCO/Murray is seeking an Electrical Operations Manager to do estimating and project management work on medium & heavy industrial, advanced manufacturing and commercial design/build projects. You’ll troubleshoot complex electrical issues, resolve design conflicts, coordinate with superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure systems perform reliably from rough-in to commissioning.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:- Responsible for all managerial and administrative aspects of a wide range of turn-key electrical projects including; estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation
- Gather project requirements directly from clients and facilitate preparation of working drawings
- Work both independently and alongside management to prepare/submit project proposals
- Attend client meetings to present project proposals and address client questions relating to cost, design, and scope of work
- Ensure an accurate and complete project estimates that align with the scope(s) of contracted work
- Manage RFI’s, change-orders, and submittals throughout lifecycle of assigned project(s)
- Manage internal project accounting requirements and track cost status of ongoing project(s)
- Plan, coordinate, oversee, and maintain effective field operations and teams
- Manage and address project close-out and/or warranty issues as they arise
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- 5–7 years of experience managing electrical subcontractor projects in commercial construction; prior design/build project experience strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with owners, general contractors, field teams, and design partners
- Proven ability to review electrical plans, identify constructability issues, and develop solutions under tight schedules
- Demonstrated competency in contract negotiation, scope management, and conflict resolution with project stakeholders
- Willingness to travel to active job sites and client locations nationwide as required
