Additional Information: Show/Hide The Director of Transportation is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the transportation services of the school district to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation of students. This includes over site of bus routes, fleet maintenance, driver supervision, compliance with state and federal regulations and budget management. Coordination of transportation for field trips, extracurricular activities and special education needs.
Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation management, preferably in a school setting
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or B) with appropriate endorsements (P & S)
Strong knowledge of transportation laws, safety standards, and routing software
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
This is a full-time year round position with generous benefit package $90,000 - $110,000
