Job Description

Ensure Policies, procedures, and activities are carried out to support BRS goals and objectives in the Cold Rolling Department areas while executing clerical responsibilities and tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure Safety, Environmental, Quality requirements and “where applicable” ResponsibleSteel requirements are followed.
  2. Entry of Cold Rolling completed records into the BRS Management System in a timely manner
  3. Ensure Cold Rolling employee positions and assignments are up to date and accurate in the BRS Management System; ensure organizational chart is accurate
  4. Entry of all training documents are up to date and accurate in the BRS Management System for all Cold Rolling employees
  5. Coordinate and resolve issues with teammates pay, uniforms, another items as needed
  6. Communicate with suppliers on purchase orders and deliveries of materials/chemicals as necessary
  7. Communicate with material suppliers on issues with payments of goods
  8. Coordinates Cold Rolling Pickle Line Hydrochloric Acid manifest and shipments in and out going
  9. Entry of purchase requests into Guide TI for the Cold Rolling team as needed
  10. Entry of uniforms and boot vouchers into a document for the corrective of cost in a timely manner
  11. Ensure all safety paperwork for New Hire Orientation is prepared and on hand
Qualifications:
  1. Strong organizational and computer skills
  2. Able to multi-task with attention detail
  3. Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  4. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently of other with little supervision
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive team player
  6. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
  7. Related experience in accounting and Pickle Line Tandem Cold Mill consumables is a plus
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Position is typically in an office setting with a controlled environment. Physical responsibilities include going to the mill. General work hours are expected with some overtime depending on the workload.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not supervise others.
