Join Copa Health, a leader in community behavioral health services, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. We are seeking a compassionate Counselor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide integrated behavioral health support, including assessments, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, and coordination of care.
Monitor and evaluate members' progress, offering ongoing assessment and feedback.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in line with Copa Health’s protocols.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field, with 1-2 years of behavioral health experience.
Licensed at the Associate level, working toward Independent licensure (LAC, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW) with the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
Experience in community behavioral health settings, particularly with high-acuity members, is preferred.
Proficient in DSM IV, State SMI checklist, community resources, psychotropic medications, crisis intervention, and clinical methods.
Strong skills in MS Office and EMR/EHR systems.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team with cultural sensitivity.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass required background checks.
