School Cafeteria Worker, Long Term Sub at Essex Westford School District

Essex Westford School District is seeking a long-term Food Service Staff in our child nutrition program. The right candidate must be available Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 1:45pm. Performing routine and skilled food preparation and service tasks for the K-8 and high school cafeterias. This position is available to start immediately and is anticipated to go through the end of September 2025, with the possibility of an extension. At the completion of the long-term substitute assignment, the position will transition to an on-call, as-needed substitute, but may evolve into regular part-time positions based on the district's needs. 

Primary job duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Support the daily operation where needed
• Comply with State Sanitation Guidelines
• Carry out routine food preparation tasks
• Assist with set up
• Help with maintaining inventory
• Assist in maintaining a clean working environment
