IAV is a leading company in the automotive industry that specializes in developing technologies for the automobiles and transportation of the future. Our research focuses on “highly automated driving” (HAD), “autonomous driving” (AD), and “advanced driver assistance systems” (ADAS). We conduct research on these topics and develop our own passenger car prototypes and highly automated shuttles.
As part of this position, we are looking for support in the form of an internship/thesis for the development of innovative interaction concepts. These concepts are intended to improve interaction between passengers and highly automated shuttles, as well as between technical supervisors or control centers and passengers.
Your Tasks:
You will develop and implement web applications for interaction between passengers and highly automated shuttles.
You will design and optimize user interfaces and develop intuitive and user-friendly interaction concepts.
You will work with interdisciplinary teams to understand and implement technical requirements.
You will support testing and analysis to ensure the functionality and user-friendliness of the developed solutions.
You will support the continuous improvement of existing systems through innovative approaches and technologies.
Necessary Skills:
- Current or completed degree in a STEM subject (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, technology)
- Experience in programming and development in general, preferably AI web applications and algorithms
- Knowledge of user interface design and interaction concepts
- Ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in German and English at least at B2 level
Remuneration is based on our collective agreement and pay scale. The current monthly salary for this position is EUR 979.
