Graduate Finance Analyst

We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Group Finance Team.

This role is perfect for someone eager to build a career in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Finance Business Partnering. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, while contributing to performance analysis that drives strategic decision-making.

As part of the FP&A and Corporate Finance functions, you’ll play a key role in delivering insightful financial analysis and supporting budgeting processes. You’ll also collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business, helping to ensure decisions are commercially sound and clearly understood.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the budgeting, forecasting and planning processes across the business

• Support with providing analysis on variances to plans

• Maintain and update financial models and templates

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management reports and presentations

• Collaborate with operational teams to understand drivers of performance and identify opportunities for improvement

• Communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders

• Reviewing monthly transactions and providing support with the preparation of accounting entries

• Develop knowledge of D&G’s core financial systems

• Other activities required to support the wider team

Skills and experience required:

• Competency with Excel and PowerPoint

• Numerical degree with a desire to complete an accounting qualification

• Attention to detail

• Communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders

• Eagerness to learn and grow within a finance function
