Position Overview:
The Senior Business Analyst will work with stakeholders, development teams, and agency staff to support analysis, requirements gathering, testing, and implementation for WAP Hancock and WARM/COPOS system releases. This role will serve as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business needs are met, issues are resolved, and successful project outcomes are achieved.
Duties:
Conduct comprehensive, independent evaluations of existing efforts and provide recommendations.
Facilitate requirements elicitation, prioritization, validation, and documentation.
Develop user stories, work items, test scripts, and related project documentation.
Coordinate and support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and accessibility conformance testing.
Document test results, identify gaps, report system defects, and collaborate on timely resolution.
Provide implementation support including training, Go-Live activities, and outcome documentation.
Capture and communicate implementation schedule changes and update project documentation as needed.
Compile Implementation Outcome Reports with session notes, required updates, and recommendations for subsequent Go-Live planning.
Triage production issues, working with development teams and end users to resolve them effectively.
Act as a liaison between development teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements and address concerns.
Ensure compliance with digital accessibility regulations and standards.
Participate in stakeholder sessions to identify business/system requirements and coordinate deliverable approval.
Mentor others in business analysis practices and contribute improvements to established processes.
Required Skills:
5 years of Business Analysis experience.
Ability to apply knowledge, skills, and competencies independently without supervision.
Ability to instruct and mentor others in business analysis responsibilities.
Mastery of industry standards and best practices in business analysis, with the ability to contribute improvements to the practice.
Preferred Skills:
Experience and/or familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience and/or familiarity with AWS and/or Ruby on Rails.
