JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Network/Security Analyst is responsible for the administration and strategic enhancement of the organization's core security systems. This role is central to managing our Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), optimizing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, and ensuring the security of our cloud environments through Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert with strong problem-solving skills, capable of driving automation initiatives and providing subject matter expertise on security best practices. This position requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who can work both independently and collaboratively to strengthen our security posture.
This role requires 4 days in office for up to 6 months to learn the role and then will be able to shift to 3 days a week in office and 2 days remote. This role is located in St Louis, Missouri.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and maintain the organization's Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including certificate lifecycle management, policy enforcement, and operational support.
Administer and optimize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms to enhance security monitoring, incident detection, and threat analysis.
Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and best practices.
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on cloud security, assisting with threat modeling, risk mitigation, and the implementation of robust security controls.
Identify opportunities and drive the automation of security operations and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Minimal in-store work by way of CTC (Commitment To Customer) engagements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Proven experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, and Cloud Security/Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools at an enterprise level.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
KNOWLEDGE
Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including certificate management, administration, and automation.
Proven experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, including log analysis, creating dashboards, and developing custom alerts.
Solid understanding of Cloud Security and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform, Ansible).
Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in a complex, multi-layered technical environment.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Self motivated and can work independently or with a team to complete jobs or projects. Able to multitask several projects simultaneously.
Should be a team player with good writing skills and verbal communications. Able to communicate with different levels of teammates both internal and external to the business.
Capable of looking outside the box. Always looking for better and more effective ways to perform our jobs.

Will work in an inside construction area that sometimes requires a hard hat.
Job also may require night work depending on maintenance periods.
Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates:
- Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
- Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
