SALARY: 40.01 per hour
SHIFT: 11PM to 7AM, 7AM to 3PM, or 3PM to 11PM – must be available to work at least 66% of weekend shifts a month across all shifts and on major holidays.

ROLE SUMMARY:
As a Quality Assurance Weekend Analyst in Columbus, you will have the opportunity to perform various studies, statistical analysis, and participate in PDCA teams to improve quality throughout the brewery.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Run routine analytical analyses on beer samples including: pH, ballings, alcohol, sodium, and iron.
Run routine analyses of packaged beer for oxygen, carbon dioxide, fill level, etc.
Routine testing of pasteurizers for proper pasteurization.
Conduct inspection and analysis of package integrity and specifications.
Coordinate quality analyses ensuring accurate results, timely completion, and proper responses and notification.
Perform various studies, statistical analysis, lead PDCA teams to improve quality throughout the brewery.
Perform duties of Packaging Operator when required – operate and monitor production equipment, perform line quality checks, & troubleshoot equipment.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a science-intensive discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc.)
Ability to operate laboratory instruments and perform basic instrument maintenance.
Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures and techniques.
Skilled in Minitab, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Strong technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.
Must be flexible to work varying shifts during the week/weekend. Weekends and holidays will be required.
Understanding of the brewing and packaging process, HACCP and Good Manufacturing practices for food manufacturing a plus.
