Essential Duties and Functions:
- Lead a team of 4+ Marketing Analysts
- Focus on teammate growth and development through performance feedback. Serve as final escalation contact for all Marketing matters
- Assign and monitor teammate work allocation
- Oversee, adapt, and modify core deliverables and projects to keep in line with industry trends, with overall goal of improving customer understanding.
- Research, obtain information, and implement marketing processes related to general operational procedures, as well as employee benefit legislation and regulation
- Drive day-to-day carrier relationships
- Monitor and communicate carrier products, value added services, and overall value proposition.
- Coordinate with Benefits Leader & EB Sales Leader to develop strategies and instruct Marketing Analysts on strategy execution & procedures.
- Partner with Service Team Leader on operational workflows and efficiencies
- Oversee and develop training and cross training of new hires & Brokers-in-Training on the Marketing team’s function, responsibilities, and subject matter
- Explain work products internally to teammates and externally to clients, as needed
- Support internal teammates via training and guidance
- Manage book of business consisting of assigned clients’ employee benefits programs
- Satisfy licensing continuing education requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5-7 years of experience in insurance or healthcare-related field
- 3-5 years of experience in managing a team
- Florida License 2-15
- Proficient presentation skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to drive personal vehicle or a rental vehicle for routine or periodic travel
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages
