Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in design, and operation of critical control systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in multiple packages as applied to critical cooling or power systems.
- Experience in process for mission critical facility systems.
- Knowledge of data center and utility related infrastructure systems as well in the compliance requirements of the pertinent codes, regulations, and standards.
- Knowledge of data centers’ mechanical or electrical infrastructure systems in design, operational, and commissioning of mission critical mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems.
- Excellent scripting skills in C++, Java, Python, or similar in an industrial controls context as to work with embedded systems or with related hardware/software teams.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and issue resolution for monitoring systems throughout the project lifecycle, from concept and detailed design through procurement, installation, and ongoing support.
- Act as an interface with various internal and external teams to deliver electrical solutions, reinforce standards across all regions, and incorporate lessons learned into design specifications.
- Participate in and support on-site commissioning activities for mechanical and electrical equipment, integrated system testing, and provide ongoing support to site operations for control system issues.
- Develop and maintain technical protocols for managing critical field system operational data, provide insights on trends, and manage changes to control and monitoring system design requirements.
