Duties & Responsibilities
DigiFlight is seeking a Program Integrator supporting Development and Modernization (Dev Mod) within
the Apache Attack Helicopter Project Management Office (AAH-PMO) based in the Huntsville, AL area.
Candidates should have excellent program management, organizational, and communication skills with
experience in Attack Helicopter Operations, capability management, requirements development, and
material development. An ideal candidate should have experience with Army Acquisition, test and
evaluation, Joint Multi Domain operations, be highly motivated, a self-starter, and be able to handle multiple
tasks simultaneously.
Job Duties:
· Serve as program support for the AH-64E aircraft
· Provide technical advice for the requirement, test, verify, field process.
· Conducts life cycle mission, gap and capability analysis to identify ideal paths for Army Aviation acquisition and procurement
· Understanding of Aviation operations and employment, a thorough understanding of the Army and Joint Concepts
· Routine coordination with Army stakeholders including TRADOC, HQDA G-3/5/7, CAC-FDD, PEOs, and USAFMSA
· Conduct analysis, inform fiscal decisions, interface with government and industry stakeholders, and represent the program office on current fleet & modernization priorities
· Support the project and engineering leads to obtain and manage airworthiness status and data for airworthiness needs.
· Coordinate with Airworthiness and PM Apache; assist in securing airworthiness certifications for desired, changed, and new configurations.
· Provide overall direction and coordination of a multi-disciplined, functional Integrated Product Team (IPT), consisting of Government and Contractor personnel
· Brief and / or prepare briefings for Senior Level Officers
· Prepare Acquisition Strategies / Plans (Contractual Documentation / Performance Work Statements/Product Description Documents/Schedules), Contracting and Procurement Strategies / Plans (Contract Vehicles/LOA Line Management)
· Provide support in determining the overall strategy for aircraft requirements and communicating the resulting strategy to all relevant stakeholders
· Perform program assessments of contract and case deliverables and provide recommendations for approval/disapproval, to include assisting with approval/disapproval memos for associated deliverables
· Review and analyze capability requirements and information, provide input into strategy options, researching available capabilities, documenting strategy decisions, and developing briefings and other material necessary to communicate the strategy
· Support management of contract execution to ensure customer requirements are met within cost and schedule.
· Manage, analyze, document, and track project cost, schedule, performance, and risks · Plan, advise, coordinate, execute, communicate and control PM managed lines through all phases of the case life cycle and assist the APM/PM with program schedule development
· Integrate and synchronize supporting functions (obsolescence, logistics, SRD, PM Apache SME, etc)
· Interface with, and brief, customer-chain. Represent Dev Mod interest in various stakeholder engagements.
Minimum Experience
- Education and General Experience:
· Experience with requirements analysis and capability assessments to accurately document military requirements including Joint/Urgent Operational Needs Statements (JUONS), and other rapid but non-standard methodologies
· Experience with DOTMLPF-P mission, gap and capability analysis to identify the ideal military capabilities through the conduct of Capability Based Assessment (CBA) and Cost Benefit Analysis (C-BA), Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) and other appropriate studies and experimentation
· Experience in various resourcing venues like the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Build, Force Design Updates (FDU), Total Army Analysis (TAA),
Required Skills
- Demonstrated ability to independently act as a consultant, to set priorities, to organize tasks, monitor assignments, and ensure completion of assigned work
- Knowledge of Apache AH-64 attack helicopters and their systems, subsystems and components. Instructor Pilot/Standardization Pilot/Maintenance Test Pilot preferred
