Location: Elmira, NY
Schedule: Friday–Sunday | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | 25% Weekend Shift Differential (Sat & Sun)

We’re currently seeking a Full-Time Clinical Laboratory Technician or Technologist to join our weekend day/evening team. This position includes a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 for eligible candidates, along with the opportunity to grow in a collaborative and supportive healthcare environment.
About the Role
As a Clinical Laboratory Technician or Technologist, you will perform a wide range of diagnostic testing on patient specimens in accordance with established laboratory protocols. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results, which are critical to patient care decisions. This position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
What You’ll Do
Perform clinical laboratory tests on human specimens for diagnostic purposes
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment
Accurately record and report test results using the Lab Information System
Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance policies and procedures
Participate in quality control and quality assurance initiatives
Communicate effectively with medical staff and fellow team members
Maintain continuing education requirements (minimum of 12 hours annually)
Qualifications
Education & Licensure
Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology, or
Associate degree or higher for Clinical Laboratory Technician
Current NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Technician license, or proof of application
Experience
Must meet all federal and state qualifications for a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Technician
CPR Certification
Not required
Physical Demands
Light to moderate physical activity, with some standing and walking required
Typical laboratory environment with exposure to biological materials (Exposure Category I)
