Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a dynamic, compassionate Clinical Faculty/Teaching Physician to join our team in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Position Duties
What You’ll Do:
- Engage students in hands-on clinical skills training, case-based learning, and lectures.
- Guide future physicians through physical exams, SOAP notes, and patient interviewing.
- Play a key role in curriculum development and innovation.
- Provide mentorship and career advising, shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary faculty team to enhance student learning experiences.
- Assess student progress, ensuring high standards of medical education.
- Optional: Pursue limited clinical work, maintaining real-world experience while teaching.

Minimum Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with completed residency.
- Board-certified or board-eligible(within two years of residency completion).
- Passion for medical education, mentorship, and student success.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pre-clinical teaching, curriculum development, or medical simulation.
- Interest in innovative educational methodologies and course design.
- Prior academic leadership experience is a plus.

Work Schedule:
- Typically, Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm
- May occasionally require evenings and weekends.
