About the Team :
The Maintenance team is a group Maintenance Technicians that ensures that a facility remains in operating form. Daily tasks will vary day-to-day based on what is in need of attention at the time, but can frequently include repairs, aesthetic work or tending to the facility’s machinery. The type of work a Maintenance Technician will encounter on an average day is also determined by the company the technician works for as well as the company’s grounds and facility
About the Role:
Under minimal supervision, perform installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems on manufacturing and ancillary equipment. This includes performing rebuilds and other complex mechanical/electrical/troubleshooting. Provide project support, and complete preventive and predictive maintenance on all plant/production equipment
Requirements
In this role, you will…
· Visually inspect and electrically test machinery and equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems and repair machines.
· Read electrical schematics and use them to troubleshoot equipment.
· Possess PLC knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot utilizing the PLC programs.
· Maintain, service, troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical and electronic circuitry and related components associated with production equipment.
· Work from prints and plans to repair, maintain and install equipment.
· Assist employees with repairs and diagnosis of equipment problems.
· Monitors, schedules, and documents preventive maintenance on equipment.
· Troubleshoot, install and repair pneumatic and hydraulic components.
· Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
· PLC troubleshooting and programming skills.
· Willing to do mechanical work as needed.
· Experience in the electronic diagnostics of PLCs, AC/DC drive systems, and various types of computer operated control circuitry that includes working with voltages up to 480V.
· Ability to perform complex mechanical and electrical work with speed and accuracy.
· Assist with shift coverage as needed.
· Willingness to work overtime as needed
· Perform required facility safety inspections.
