We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to join ROLLiN’, where you’ll craft seamless front-end experiences for customers and colleagues alike. You’ll work with cutting-edge tech, collaborate across disciplines, and bring ideas to life in a fast-paced, agile environment.
We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to join ROLLiN is to skilfully craft the ROLLiN’ front-end experiences presented to customers and colleagues, leveraging leading-practice methods for interface/ display layer development.
Working with visual designs, design systems, user experience templates and product definitions and a cross-functional team, you understand the tensions between customer needs and business expectations, traversing these requirements with pragmatism and panache.
Some key responsibilities
- Write high-quality code that is performant, modular, testable, and easy to maintain.
- Collaborate closely with product managers to deliver minimum viable products efficiently, even under tight deadlines.
- Enhance and update existing digital assets, ensuring they remain relevant and functional.
- Maintain digital assets using clean, accessible markup aligned with the latest web standards and best practices.
- Continuously improve development workflows and code quality by experimenting with and adopting innovative tools, techniques, and AI copilots.
- Support and evolve core front-end and back-end functionality across multiple customer-facing platforms.
- Develop new features while modernizing legacy Node.js applications to improve performance and maintainability.
This is a permanent full-time role, and we welcome candidates based in Gadigal Country (Sydney) and Naarm (Melbourne).
About You
- Excellent full stack development experience in production environments.
- Strong Node.js experience, including legacy app maintenance and debugging.
- Solid React.js and Next.js knowledge (SSR and SPA architectures).
- Proven experience with GraphQL, AWS AppSync, REST, and performant API development.
- Proficiency in NestJS or similar backend frameworks.
- Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and ES6+ best practices.
- Experience modernising legacy codebases and migrating to scalable architectures.
- Familiarity with Micro-FrontEnds, Module Federation, and reusable component libraries.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex production issues.
- Experience working closely with designers and product managers in fast-paced environments.
- Previous experience working with systems built in AWS cloud.
