We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Technical Standards and Assurance Engineer to join us in our Engineering and Technical Solutions team in Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne or Sydney on a Permanent Full Time Contract.

Reporting to the Head of Process Safety and Technical Assurance, and working closely with the Senior Technical Standards and Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for upholding engineering rigour across Operations by leading contributing to the development and implementation of technical standards and assurance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support development and delivery of the roadmap for operations engineering standards.
  • Align design and operational standards through close collaboration with Infrastructure Development.
  • Support Management of Change (MOC) processes to support assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain and enhance the Technical Authority and Engineering Competency frameworks within Operations.
  • Monitor and report on technical compliance through performance KPIs.
  • Support cross-functional engineering teams, fostering collaboration and capability development.

Your Background

  • Experience in engineering standards, technical  governance, or assurance within a complex operational environment.
  • Understanding of assurance processes, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead work in and influence cross-functional teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.
  • Effective communicator with a track record of building collaborative relationships across operational and project-focused teams.
  • Strong experience in the technical writing of engineering standards or technical governance.
