Position Summary
The Accounting Manager is responsible for planning, managing and directing the corporate accounting team and close process while coordinating closely with the foreign accounting teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Manage and oversee the corporate accounting team which currently includes two accountants. This role will also have oversight over the Accounts Payable team located in India and will work closely with the Credit and Collections and cost accounting teams.
•Oversee and review the North American month-end closing activities including:
Review and approval of manual journal entries prepared for various North American and certain foreign entities.
Review and approval of balance sheet account reconciliations prepared for various North American domestic and certain foreign entities.
Review of monthly transactions and account fluctuations to verify accuracy of coding and completeness of expenses.
•Manage and maintain the worldwide ARCS cloud-based system.
•Manage and maintain global GL master data and general ledgers within Oracle EBS.
•Assist coordination and support of the quarterly reviews and annual audit with external auditors.
•Support the annual US consolidated tax provision and return including preparation of schedules and collaboration with foreign entities.
•Support the quarterly and annual SEC filings.
•Maintain SOX controls and update SOX documentation.
•Ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications - Knowledge & Experience
Minimum 6-10 years of relevant accounting experience with both public and private industry required.
Team oriented with strong leadership skills.
Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX requirements.
Self-starter who possesses an attention to detail.
Strong time management, organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment.
Ability to multi-task and self-manage deadlines with a strong sense of accountability to manage workload.
Strong technology skills, particularly heavy experience with Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Oracle EBS and Oracle ARCS is a plus.
Education, Licenses & Certification
Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA License is required
