The Position:
We are seeking a full-time Facilities Supervisor. This position is primarily responsible all facilities and maintenance related functions.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for all miscellaneous maintenance requirements across facilities
- Coordinates and assists with pick-ups and deliveries
- Supervises and provides leadership to maintenance/facilities staff and Facilities Assistants
- Performs and oversees general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, patching, painting, and mechanical work
- Ensures timely response to emergency maintenance calls
- Oversees room setups for meetings and company events
- Manages landscaping services at the Northridge location
- Coordinates office reconstructions and adjusts workstations as needed
- Drives company vehicle to various sites for repairs, deliveries, or pick-ups
- Oversees contracted janitorial services
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm, some evenings and weekends are required as needed.
- Starting Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a continuously clean driving record; must be insurable under the Center’s automobile insurance policy
- 3–5 years of general maintenance experience required
- Proficiency in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills relevant to the role
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and plan work effectively
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to complete projects and reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement; detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues at all levels
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong attendance record
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Enthusiastic commitment to the department’s success and the Center’s mission
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
