Entry-level Group Fitness Instructors
THPRD Fitness is seeking qualified entry-level Group Fitness Instructors to join our team! In this role, you will plan, instruct, and lead group fitness classes aligned with your certifications and areas of expertise. Lead, inspire, and make a difference—apply today!
Classes may be held indoors at our recreation centers or outdoors in THPRD’s beautiful parks. Our programs are open to participants of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. We are looking for instructors who can adapt to individual needs, manage group dynamics effectively, and demonstrate safe exercise techniques.
Role Summary & Schedule
Instructors play an important role in keeping participants safe and motivated by:
- Promoting physical safety through safe exercise techniques and programming adjustments for different skill levels.
- Supporting mental and social well-being by creating a welcoming, encouraging, and community-oriented class environment.
Instructor 3: Group Fitness Instructors are responsible for planning and leading general and/or specialized activities for program participants.
Schedule & Classification
- Hours vary from 2 to 29 per week, scheduled between 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM, including weekends.
- Part-time employees work variable hours and may work less than 1,560 hours per year.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current fitness certification (AFAA, ACSM, ACE, NASM, ISSA, Zumba®, etc.)
- Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, or willingness to obtain/renew upon hire
- Experience working with a diverse population

- Bilingual: Spanish (eligible for pay incentive)
