About the Team:
- We are part of Corporate Functions catering to all applications used by Corporate Finance team. We closely work with Accounting and Recon, Financial Planning and Analysis, Regulatory Reporting, Procurement, Treasury and Taxation functions of Finance Business.
Impact (Job Summary/Why this Role Matters)
- Your focus will be on understanding and documenting business requirements related to financial products and processes, specifically within the Murex platform. You will be working closely with stakeholders, configuring and enhancing Murex functionality, and supporting system stability. Their role often involves analyzing, designing, and implementing changes to trading and back-office processes.
Key Deliverables (Duties and Responsibilities)
- Eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements related to financial products, trading workflows, and Murex functionality.
- Working with various stakeholders including front office users (traders, quants), operations teams, and technical teams to gather, validate, and prioritize requirements.
- Configuring and enhancing Murex functionality to support specific business needs, including trade execution, pricing, risk management, and settlement processes.
- Designing and implementing changes to Murex, including developing functional specifications, conducting gap analysis, and participating in the implementation lifecycle.
- Developing and executing test plans, validating results, and documenting outcomes to ensure changes meet business requirements and system stability.
- Providing support and troubleshooting for Murex issues, including identifying defects, designing solutions, and collaborating with technical teams.
- Utilizing tools and technologies related to Murex, such as MxML, SQL, XSL, and data dictionary languages, to support data integration, process automation, and system stability.
- Staying updated on financial market trends, Murex best practices, and relevant regulations to ensure the Murex platform is optimized and compliant.
- Effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations, and fostering collaboration between different teams.
Skills and Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance with 13+ years of experience.
- Strong understanding of financial products and trading workflows, especially in areas like derivatives, pricing, and risk management.
- Proven experience in implementing and configuring Murex, including knowledge of specific modules and functionalities.
- Experience with business process analysis and design, requirements definition, and project management.
- Proficiency in relevant technologies like SQL, XSL, and MxML.
- Experienced in handling Datamart configurations and Processing scripts configuration for EOD process.
- Know how to Optimize Murex EOD Datamart Feeder extractions
- Must possess good understanding of both exchange traded and OTC Derivatives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
