Within Barco, the Operational Quality Team implements, administers, and continually improves Quality Control & Quality Assurance, to support manufacturing, industrialization and warehouse management. The team consists of a production Quality Assurance department and an Incoming Quality Control team.
The Measurement Quality Coordinator is part of the Incoming Quality Control department which is responsible for following activities:
- execute incoming and ad-hoc component inspections
- identify, segregate, and report on non-conform material
- shelf-life management
- creation of complaints towards suppliers
For complex parts with low dimension tolerances, specific measurements and evaluations towards specifications are needed. The Measurement Quality Coordinator creates parts measurement programs, reviews drawings and the measures parts with the 3D CMM or Quick Vision noncontact system.
Your responsibilities:
- You are responsible for programming test SW (MCOSMOS) and measuring incoming parts with the 3D CMM and Quick vision 3D noncontact tool
- You technically support the supplier quality department in case the rejected mechanical parts are caused by an external supplier.
- For new parts introduction:
- You review and challenge the drawing information in function of inspection capabilities
- You program the test SW (MCOSMOS) of the 3D CMM measurement tool and evaluate the first articles
- You manage the calibration of all measurement tools in IQC
Your Profile:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical domain, or equivalent by experience
- Ideally, you have experience in measuring and evaluating mechanical parts via a 3D CMM.
- You have basic knowledge of a CAD tool
- You have an analytical mindset
- You have good communication skills and build actively a network within the organization
