Pay: $39.74 per hour
Hours are 8:15pm - 6:45am M-Th with overtime as required.

Job Summary:
The Third Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all saw, mesh, and welding operations during third shift in a fast-paced metal fabrication and wire mesh partition manufacturing facility. This role manages 50–70 production team members, ensuring safety, quality, production targets, and Lean manufacturing practices are met or exceeded. The supervisor drives continuous improvement initiatives, upholds strict 5S standards, and ensures optimal use of labor and equipment to meet production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all third-shift personnel in the saw, mesh, and welding departments.
- Ensure production schedules are executed efficiently and on time.
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and correcting unsafe behaviors.
- Drive Lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement, and waste reduction across all areas.
- Champion and maintain a strict 5S culture (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve production issues quickly.
- Monitor labor efficiency, machine utilization, and material usage; take corrective actions as needed.
- Train, mentor, and develop shift personnel to build a high-performance team.
- Conduct shift meetings, assign daily work, and ensure job instructions are clearly communicated.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, scrap rate, downtime, and labor productivity.
- Ensure quality standards are consistently met and work closely with QA to address defects or non-conformance.
- Complete shift reports and communicate effectively with first and second shift leadership.
- Lead by example with professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and metal working processes.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and walk throughout the facility.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in metal fabrication or welding environments.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S implementation.
- Proven track record of leading teams and improving production performance.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and production reporting tools.
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or Welding.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
