Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with extensive experience in managing projects related to Supermicro technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, server architecture, and project management methodologies. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation specific to Supermicro technology implementations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, ensuring stakeholders are informed of project status, risks, and issues.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, provide updates and gather feedback from team members and stakeholders.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
• Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to best practices in project management and Supermicro technology.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned in future projects.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and technical specifications.
• Prepare and present project reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations. 
• Ability to spend time in datacenters environment approximately 80% of time. 
• Some travel is required. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus. 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure. 
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from initiation to completion. 
• Strong understanding of server systems, storage solutions, networking technologies and data centers infrastructure.  
• Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.

 

Certifications:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred. 

Salary Range

$87,000 - $149,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
