PMA is seeking a Project Leader to join our IT department to coordinate the business process of transfer and migration of claims data from a prior TPA into our claim system for handling. The Data Migration Coordinator (or Project Manager) working on behalf of our Third-Party Administrator (TPA) company, PMA Management Corp, plays a crucial role in planning, leading, monitoring, and overseeing the transfer of claim data while ensuring its accuracy, integrity, and security.
The ideal candidate would be one who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys problem-solving and can navigate in both technical and business areas. At any one time, 10-15 conversion projects are active and in different stages of progression each with their own client expectations for timelines.
Primary duties include project planning, team leadership, monitoring progress, risk management, managing and meeting timelines, ensuring data quality standards, and that internal and client expectations are consistently met.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage data conversion projects from initiation through completion.
- Work with IT teams to develop/implement an action plan for the scope of the project.
- Coordinate all data conversion activities for a new TPA account. Work with business, IT staff and prior TPA’s to ensure data is loaded to PMAMC system within specified timeframe.
- Support TPA business teams for the offboarding of PMAMC data to a new TPA. Working with business and IT teams to ensure data is received within a specified timeframe.
- Facilitate communication between PMA IT, PMAMC business teams, and external clients and 3rd party vendors.
- Monitor progress and implement solutions to address issues as they arise.
- Ensure project documentation, timelines, and deliverables are well maintained.
- Provide support and leadership in troubleshooting and resolving data-related challenges.
- Demonstrate commitment to Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and apply knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, standards and laws applicable to job responsibilities in the performance of work.
