SUMMARY:
Framing dept. plays a crucial role in the production process by tying our boats together using crossmembers, laying the wiring harness, and operating and maintaining various equipment, such as Impact wrenches, drills, screw guns to ensure the efficient and accurate operation that contributes to the overall quality and timely production of pontoon boats.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installing crossmembers:
- Reading and understanding blueprints and schedules.
- Use of tape measure, to ensure boats are square and have even overhang on crossmembers.
- Ability to climb in and out of boats and work in proximity with others.
- Use of hand tools, impacts, screw guns, wrenches.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment.
- Quality Assurance:
- Perform routine quality checks to verify the accuracy and precision framed boats.
- Identify and report any issues or defects in the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to meet and maintain high-quality standards.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct regular maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs or adjustments.
- Adherence to Safety Protocols:
- Strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating tools/machinery.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Supports Barletta Safe culture by adhering to and advocating for the safest behaviors and proactively identifies opportunities to mitigate job-related risks and hazards.
- Collaboration:
- Work in close proximity with team members, including other production staff, to achieve production goals.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other relevant personnel.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of production volumes, and any adjustments made during the manufacturing process.
- Complete production logs and reports as required.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and productivity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Must have the ability to perform all physical requirements required of the position, including but not limited to ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, kneel, climb, squat for 8+ hours and lift upward of 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
