We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This entry-level role is ideal for someone passionate about HR operations and employee engagement. The successful candidate will support a wide range of HR functions, including payroll processing, talent acquisition, employee communications, and compliance. This is an on-site position located in North Baltimore, OH.

What You'll Do

 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Payroll Processing: Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for employees across two facilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Talent Acquisition: Coordinate individual contributor job recruitment efforts including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
  • Training Coordination: Organize and occasionally deliver employee training sessions on topics such as compliance and workplace expectations.
  • Employee Communication: Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits through email, phone, and in-person communication.
  • Confidentiality & Compliance: Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and in accordance with established confidentiality protocols.
  • HR Systems: Utilize HRIS platforms such as UKG (experience preferred) to manage employee data and reporting.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with preparing employment-related documents and supporting HR initiatives across both facilities.

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, individuals may perform other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Experience with UKG or similar HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of employment laws preferred.
