Student Worker - World Languages and Cultures

Purpose/Objective of the Role:
To assist the Academic Assistant as well as the Chair and other faculty in the Department of World Languages & Cultures with tasks that help things run smoothly and ensure a welcoming environment for students.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Examples include:
- Scanning and photocopying
- Picking up mail/copies
- Staffing the front desk when Academic Assistant is not present
- Create flyers/posters
- Post promotional materials
- Maintain social media
- Help with events etc.
Qualifications/Skills:
We are looking for students who love being part of the Dept. of World Languages & Cultures and value what we do, who are creative, organized, responsible and good communicators. Some experience with using Google Suite applications and Canva or similar app is preferred. Some knowledge of Spanish or French is ideal but not a requirement.
