Primarily responsible for operating yard dog and tractor trailer vehicles to transport live poultry from parking lot area to the receiving processing area, exercising safe driving practices ensuring their safety and the safety of the public.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS ::- Individual will obtain trucks from the holding/cooling shed that are filled with chickens and drive them to the live receiving dock.
- Individual will drive the empty trailer to the yard.
- Individual will re-weigh the loaded trailers before going to receiving.
- Individual will weigh any loads that were brought in during the day.
- Individual will help direct where the empty cages should be stacked on the outgoing truck.

- Exposure consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- Exposure to temperatures below 0 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
- May handle product below 0 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
- May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
- Must handle the weight of 8 to 10 lbs repetitively, occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling 40 to 70 lbs.
- Exposure to chemicals used in the poultry processing facility.
- Ability to work in a stationary position, on feet for the entire shift.
- Ability to work with heavy machinery for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to climb steps and to access and egress through the production environment.
