CTE Business and Marketing Education Teacher
The Bethel School District is seeking teacher applicants who have the potential to be leaders and innovative educators. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to deliver instruction based upon best available research and practices in teaching and learning.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Valid and appropriate certificate and endorsements for Washington state required.
- Hold Career and Technical Education (CTE) Certification in Business, Marketing, or Business and Marketing Education required. Any of the following: V078000, V520100, V521401,
- V6000092 'Career Choices' is required for this position.
- If not yet CTE Certified: Must complete an approved CTE Plan 2 Business & Industry Route teacher preparation program. 6,000 hours of Management level business experience.
- Demonstrated ability to use a variety of instructional strategies and methods appropriate for student learning needs.
- Ability to implement programs which will lead to industry certification of students.
- Ability to integrate technology with curriculum.
- Ability and willingness to seek out and participate in a variety of training opportunities to enhance industry and teaching skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective classroom management.
- Must possess effective problem solving abilities and critical thinking skills, and be able to organize ideas, time and materials.
- Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals independently and as a member of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to teach a variety of business and marketing education subjects.
- Demonstrated desire and ability to work and communicate effectively with staff, students and parents from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and plan with other staff members through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).
- Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
- Knowledge and understanding of Washington State and Common Core Standards.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/CHARACTERISTICS - Previous successful teaching experience at grade level/subject preferred.
- Be enthusiastic, flexible and have a commitment for students to reach high learning standards.
- Willingness to accept extracurricular assignments.
