Madison Regional Health System is looking for a part-time Cook to join our dedicated Dietary team. This essential role ensures that patients, visitors, and staff enjoy healthy, delicious, and well-prepared meals every day as part of our mission: committed to providing quality healthcare close to home.

 

What You'll Do:

As a Cook, your responsibilities will include:

  • Cooking and food preparation
  • Assembling patient trays and setting up the buffet line
  • Operating the cash register and offering friendly customer service
  • Washing dishes and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment
  • Assisting patients and customers with meal needs

This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that requires attention to detail, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for helping others through food service.

 

Schedule & Work Environment:

  • Part-time position
  • Rotating shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Shifts may vary between 6:00 AM–2:30 PM and 11:00 AM–7:30 PM
  • Clean, well-lit kitchen setting with frequent standing, bending, and lifting (10–35 lbs)
  • Exposure to typical kitchen equipment and potential hazards (burns, cuts, etc.)
