The Compliance Consultant is responsible for leading and managing compliance projects from inception to completion, ensuring full alignment with the Office of Inspector General's (OIG) seven elements of an effective compliance program. You will identify opportunities to enhance processes and products, driving continuous improvements across the enterprise. Your role involves collaborating closely with diverse stakeholders to integrate compliance best practices into daily operations, leveraging your strong technical aptitude to optimize compliance systems and tools. You will analyze and resolve moderately complex compliance issues through innovative problem-solving and develop comprehensive reports to communicate the impact of compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee end-to-end compliance projects, ensuring strict adherence to the Office of Inspector General's (OIG) seven elements of an effective compliance program, while managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by proactively identifying and implementing process and product enhancements that strengthen the organization's overall compliance framework and risk mitigation strategies.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve moderately complex to complex compliance issues, applying advanced problem-solving skills to develop and execute effective, sustainable solutions.
• Leverage deep technical expertise to manage and optimize moderately complex compliance systems, ensuring their effective integration and utilization to support compliance objectives and reporting requirements.
• Serve as a key liaison and collaborator across multiple departments and business units, fostering strong partnerships to embed compliance best practices into daily operations and organizational culture.
• Design, develop, and implement robust compliance policies, procedures, and controls tailored to the needs of a moderate to large organizational environment, ensuring scalability and regulatory alignment.
• Prepare, deliver, and present comprehensive reports and executive-level briefings on compliance initiatives, project status, risk assessments, and the measurable impact of compliance activities.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts and team members, providing expertise and support to build team capabilities and ensure high-quality compliance outcomes.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or relevant compliance certifications (e.g., CCEP, CHC) are required.
• Certifications: Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), is highly desirable.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in compliance, with a strong understanding of the OIG's seven elements of compliance. Relevant experience in compliance or regulatory roles is a plus.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing compliance processes and improvements within moderate to large organizations.
• Strong technical aptitude with experience working with moderately complex compliance systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address moderately complex compliance challenges. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with limited supervision.
• Ability to occasionally travel to support project execution, stakeholder engagement, and team collaboration across multiple locations. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.


Physical Demands
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Ability to lift to 15 lbs. independently not to exceed
50 lbs. without help.
