Your Impact
As Axon's Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for repairing assemblies and supporting manufacturing lines, performing preventive maintenance, quality testing, data gathering, filling out non-conformance reports, and supporting the engineering team and QA department as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble, install, repair, and maintain electronic components and systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on production test equipment and subsystems.
- Provide feedback to Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Training, and Quality teams.
- regarding failure modes and frequency
- Directly support the manufacturing line to meet daily and monthly goals.
- Visually inspect, test, and assemble components or subassemblies using approved assembly procedures.
- Use a computer to perform testing, download information or record test data.
- Use hand tools, machine tools and various types of equipment to assemble and test products.
- Transact materials within Axon's ERP system.
- Promote a continuous improvement environment by looking for more efficient ways to perform daily duties.
- Communicate effectively and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Take initiative in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Solve problems or identify issues and assist in resolutions.
- Make reasonable decisions and escalate accordingly.
- Understand and comply with all ESD requirements.
- Promotes a safe work environment by adhering to all safety requirements.
What You Bring
- 1-6 years of experience in electronics manufacturing
- Knowledge of electromechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret written instructions.
- Ability to use DMM.
- Solder experience: IPC J-Standard Certified is preferred but not required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solder with 10X or greater magnification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work within a team.
