TITLE, SALARY & WORK LOCATION:

$135,000 to $149,415 Annually | Compensation within this range is determined based on the candidate’s experience, education, and degree of alignment with the role requirements

ROLE OVERVIEW:

 

We are seeking a Manager, Information Technology, to lead our IT department, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and company operations. This role requires a unique blend of hands-on technical expertise, leadership, and a passion for climate technology. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing IT operations within a technology-driven environment.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.
  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
  • Construct and implement plans to ensure the company’s network and systems continue to operate smoothly in the event of a problem.
  • Promote IT best practices within the organization
  • Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, including scope definition, resource allocation, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project objectives, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Monitor and assess IT risks and implement controls to mitigate potential threats to data security and business continuity.
  • Build strong relationships with other departments within the organization to understand their IT needs and priorities and ensure alignment with IT strategy.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the key business processes and systems employed by the business.
  • Make objective recommendations regarding the relative fit of technology to business need.
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.
  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
  • Serve as primary corporate spokesperson for information management.
  • Continuously analyze current processes, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Capacity to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Effective communication skills for team collaboration

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT leadership roles.
  • 5+ years of IT applications delivery/management experience in manufacturing
  • Strategic mindset with proven IT project management skills.
  • Developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong technical skills across a range of IT areas, including networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, cloud computing, backups, and recovery procedures. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
