Responsibilities:
  • Take primary ownership of assigned clients by managing service plan requirements, including policy processing, invoicing, renewals, new business submissions, RFIs, quote reviews, and proposal preparation.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by addressing specific needs, resolving service challenges, and managing claims or concerns.

  • Lead client meetings with a structured process to set clear expectations, ask key questions, and demonstrate confidence in recommendations.

  • Accurately document all client conversations and interactions within the agency management system.

  • Support retention and growth by following the company’s new account hand-off process and strengthening existing client relationships.

  • Collaborate with the Sales and P&C Teams by participating in trade shows, identifying workflow/technology efficiencies, and improving service based on client feedback.

  • Provide backup support for colleagues to ensure continuity of service and team success.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of licensed P&C account management experience, including commercial lines in an agency setting.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, markets, and professional liability coverage.

  • Proficiency with Applied systems and related insurance technology tools.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with strong decision-making skills.

  • Proven ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities, and lead or mentor others effectively.

  • Bachelor’s degree with integrity, ambition, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Additional Information:

This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.
