Description
Conexon is a rapidly growing company working with Rural Electric Cooperatives to build advanced fiber to the home (FTTH) networks nationwide. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join the Construction Management team.
We are looking for qualified candidates for onsite quality control inspection that have experience in all facets of constructing a FTTH network and is looking for experience in telecommunications construction. This candidate should have experience in FTTX, FTTH, FTTP, Fiber, telecommunications or broadband projects. Candidates must be organized and have good written and verbal communication skills to communicate with clients, cooperative members, and co-workers. Current opportunity includes work onsite with some travel required.
Requirements
- Project/Program Management experience
- This job is focused on overseeing and managing the work required to design, build and invoice for OSP extensions, damage restoration and routine maintenance for assigned projects
- Analytical ability to monitor and review maintenance performance
- Manage and direct all aspects of OSP maintenance for assigned projects
- Efficient use of time management skills in managing workload and meeting deadlines
- Ensure all as-built design maps and OTDR traces are maintained per Conexon procedures
- Assist with the development of new maintenance procedures as needed
- Assist the Regional Maintenance Manager with additional responsibilities as needed
