Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. at RWJ in New Brunswick, NJ
As a CRNA, you will play a pivotal role in providing anesthesia care across various patient populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.
Ideally looking for someone who can commit to 3 - 12 hour shifts weekly.
Hourly rate is $225 per hour
Duties
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
- Manage airway and provide critical care during procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions during procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as required, adhering to established protocols.
- Utilize Epic and other EMR/EHR systems for effective patient management and documentation.
Requirements
- Valid CRNA certification and active nursing license in the state of New Jersey
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in airway management techniques and patient monitoring practices.
- Experience with medical documentation practices and familiarity with EHR systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
