Commercial Pipefitter/Plumber at Colorado Mechanical Systems

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipefitter/Plumber to join our team at Colorado Mechanical Systems.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record that is involved in working with hydronic piping systems including steel and copper installations, boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and coil connections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific safety procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and requirements for piping systems.
• Install and maintain hydronic piping systems including steel and copper.
• Measure, cut, threat, groove, bend, and weld pipes to required specifications.
• Perform coil connections and other related tasks
• Install sanitary systems, water systems, fuel systems, fixtures and equipment.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, Foreman, and other trades to ensure efficient project execution.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial or industrial pipefitting experience with a mechanical contractor.
• Ability to work under direct supervision and work collaboratively with a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Certifications:

• OSHA 10/30, welding certifications, and other industry credentials are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work at heights, and in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work in confined spaces as needed.

Compensation/Benefits:

• $30.00-$45.00/hr. depending on skill and experience
