POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for all procedures to ensure the proper registration, data input of the proper information for each patient without regard to the financial status of any patient, insurance verification, billing, and collection follow-up with insurance companies and any other private pay sources including contracted agreements.

HOURS
8 per Day / 5 Days per Week
CATEGORIES OF DUTIES
- Completes ASAM assessment
- Ensures that patients are entered into the appropriate programs.
- Oversees and coordinates completion of intake packet and chart records.
- Monitors work of intake staff for accuracy and completeness.
- Completes and submits unit of service reports and data to supervisor and other appropriate personnel and committees as required.
- Oversees maintenance of appointments calendar.
- Attends community-based meetings with government entities and other providers.
- Coordinates interaction between, A&R and Admissions Department.
- Regularly audits completed admission files.
- Collaborates with outside providers to assist with referrals and admissions.
- Participates in marketing TTC services as needed.
- Administers waived tests (urine pregnancy test, blood glucose test, breath alcohol tester, UA drug screen, COVID 19 and flu A+B tests, and fentanyl urine screen) to patients and maintains annual waived testing requirements/trainings as required.
- Other duties as assigned within the scope of that individuals job performance.
- Other duties as assigned by Director and/or Administration.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or G.E.D.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current enrollment in (Level I) or completion of (Level II) an academic Addiction Studies Program
- Registration or Certification with a DADP- approved State level certification agency. Must be registered or certified upon hire.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Understand the use of UB92 billing format.
- Understand the use of the HCFA 1500 billing format.
- One (1) year prior admission experience, preferably in a behavioral healthcare environment.
- One (1) year continuous sobriety, if in recovery.
