Senior Program Manager

Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) in Gilbert, AZ has an exciting position for a seasoned program management candidate to be the Senior Program Manager for a large scale, high visibility program. Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the execution of programs using leadership, planning, scheduling, risk management, financial reporting and budgeting through the entire program lifecycle including design, manufacture, fielding, installation, and long-term system sustainment support.
- Lead cross-functional teams for program execution:
- Direct support from Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Production, FSR’s and Quality.
- Geographically dispersed technical teams on complex product developments to ensure delivery & support of quality products in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
- Working closely with operations and supply chain teams to enable a successful transition of new products into production.
- Generate the program schedule, establish budgets, conduct team meetings, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions when needed to meet program objectives and assure contract compliance.
- Communicate and work closely with ownership, leadership, and customers to provide status updates.
- Ability to generate proposals, cost estimates and support negotiations.
- Run meetings and assure deliverables are provided on time.
- Effectively build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Manage execution of one or more programs at any given time.
- Ultimately responsibility for meeting required deliverables ensuring product performance/quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
- Expectations of leadership, problem solving, performance analysis & metrics for earned value cost management and utilizing formal program management processes.
- Resource management and allocations against LOE’s w/ direct reports for large scale programs.
- Design to cost, estimate of completion, and cost to schedule progress & variance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any of: Business Administration, Management, Systems Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years Program Management experience managing multi-discipline teams including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and contracts.
- Skilled managing program work to schedule and budget and a track record of meeting contractual requirements.
- Must be well organized and disciplined to stay on track.
- 10% domestic and international travel will be required.
Preferred Skills:
- Degree in management, business, engineering, or related field a plus.
- 10+ years Program Management experience leading the design and manufacture of complex electronics systems with a value >$30M.
- Experience working with US Government.
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Superior organization and communication skills. Quickly assess situations and determine the most efficient, productive path forward.
- Working knowledge of Export Control & Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

- Work is typically performed in an office setting.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, bend, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.
- Must have the ability to lift 15-25 pounds.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
