Overview:

Position Summary

The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting financial planning and analysis (FP&A) across restaurant operations and corporate functions. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams—including Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain—to provide actionable insights, enhance profitability, and enable data-driven decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

  • Partner with restaurant operations to review unit-level P&Ls, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.

  • Conduct detailed variance analysis (budget vs. actuals) and present insights to executive leadership.

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews with senior stakeholders.

  • Analyze labor, food, and operational costs, providing recommendations to improve margins and overall performance.

  • Provide financial support for new restaurant openings (NROs), including pro forma modeling and ROI analysis.

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives such as menu pricing strategies, promotional performance evaluations, and market expansion assessments.

  • Prepare clear, impactful presentations and dashboards for senior management.

  • Partner with Accounting during month-end close to ensure accuracy of financial reporting.

  • Leverage data visualization and business intelligence tools to improve reporting and analytics capabilities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of financial analysis experience; prior experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail sectors strongly preferred.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP).

  • Solid understanding of restaurant-specific financial metrics (labor cost, COGS, AUV).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
