The Senior Director of DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) Initiatives will be responsible for overseeing the development and launch of solutions and products that support customer engagement and growth, including platforms that provide personalized support and navigation, as well as tools that enable customers to find and access relevant services and resources.


Role and Responsibilities

  • DTC Product Development: Develop and launch DTC products and services that provide value to consumers, such as digital health platforms, medication management tools, or personalized pharmacy services.
  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Define and execute the DTC product strategy and roadmap, aligning with the PBM's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams like Pharmacy Operations, Clinical Services, and Technology to develop and launch DTC products that meet consumer needs.
  • Consumer Insights and Feedback: Gather and incorporate consumer feedback to inform DTC product development, pricing, and marketing strategies.
  • P&L Management: Manage the financial performance of DTC products, including revenue, margins, and expenses.
  • Partnerships and Vendor Management: Develop and manage partnerships with vendors, pharmacies, and other stakeholders to support DTC product offerings.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for DTC products, including marketing, pricing, and distribution.


Requirements


Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years of experience in DTC leadership roles, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Strong background in developing and launching DTC initiatives, with experience in digital DTC strategies
  • Experience with website development and management, including user experience optimization
  • Experience managing P&L and driving business growth through strategic decision-making
  • Ability to develop and maintain brand claims and messaging, as well as launch new products
  • Experience with digital customer engagement platforms and tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some standing, walking, bending, and reaching may be required. Regularly operates in an office or home office setting which involves utilizing a computer, mouse, keyboard, and occasionally operates other standard office equipment, such as printer, copier, phone. Travel may be required by either car or airplane, or a combination of multiple modes of transportation.
