Position Posting: Student Council Advisor

Seymour High School is seeking a dedicated and motivated Student Council Advisor to oversee and support our Student Council program. The Advisor will serve as a mentor and facilitator for student leaders, guiding them in the planning and execution of activities that promote school spirit, leadership, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and supervision to Student Council members in the development of school-wide initiatives, events, and fundraisers.

• Mentor student leaders in developing organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.

• Ensure that Student Council activities align with Seymour High School’s mission, values, and policies.

• Coordinate with school administration, faculty, and community partners to support successful student-led initiatives.

• Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages active student participation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with high school students.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Certified Faculty status at Seymour High School.
