Seymour High School is seeking a dedicated and motivated Student Council Advisor to oversee and support our Student Council program. The Advisor will serve as a mentor and facilitator for student leaders, guiding them in the planning and execution of activities that promote school spirit, leadership, and community engagement.
Responsibilities
Provide direction and supervision to Student Council members in the development of school-wide initiatives, events, and fundraisers.
Mentor student leaders in developing organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
Ensure that Student Council activities align with Seymour High School’s mission, values, and policies.
Coordinate with school administration, faculty, and community partners to support successful student-led initiatives.
Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages active student participation.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with high school students.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
