POSITION: Future Problem Solving Scenario Writing Coach
JOB GOAL: The Future Problem Solving Scenario Writing Coach is a position for an
after school club at BHS.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Candidates with understanding of the Future Problem Solving Program preferred.
2. At least 1 year previous coaching in Future Problem Solving preferred.
3. Candidate must hold current Barnstable Public School position
REPORTS TO: Director of Teaching and Learning PK-5
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Know current rules, regulations and requirements of Future Problem Solving International
Plan and facilitate weekly meetings with competitors (team and individual), providing
instruction, support and materials
Schedule competitions and communicate with all stakeholders (administrators, teachers,
parents, students)
Attend parent meetings for Future Problem Solving and International Competition planning
Supervise competitors in fundraising for the International Competition
Attend the International Competition for teams that have been invited
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Per BTA
contract SALARY: Per BTA Contract
