Position Information:
The Grounds Maintenance Helper assists the Grounds Technicians, Heavy Equipment Operators, and Irrigation/Pesticide Technicians with a broad range of maintenance activities. This position assists with a variety of tasks and projects essential for maintaining district properties and facilities. Additionally, this position performs preliminary work, completes minor projects, and keeps accurate records.
Shift Details: 8 hours a day; 90 day temporary position
Non-Continuing Position: This position is a temporary 90 day position only. Typically, non-continuing assignments fill a variety of temporary vacancies to help the school district meet a short-term work demand. This work assignment expires on the end date of employment and there is no reasonable assurance for work after the end date. An employee's total work hours and the designated beginning and ending times may vary.
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Hourly Rate: $35.13 (hourly) (2024-2025 Maintenance Trades Employee Salary Schedule)
