HR Recruiter Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Government Food Service Contractor
Join our growing team! We are a government food service contractor providing essential services to military troops at Lackland AFB Dining Facility and Camp Bullis Army Dining Facility. With a workforce of 850+ employees and expanding, we seek a dedicated HR Recruiter to support our hiring efforts and manage recruitment processes.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Outreach: Contact candidates by phone, coordinate interviews, and assist in interview processes with HR and facility managers.
Recruitment Management: Maintain accurate job postings in ADP, update job descriptions, and collaborate with the social media team to promote open positions.
Facility Coordination: Work with 13+ managers across dining facilities to track open and filled positions.
Base Pass Requests: Submit base pass requests to the government for new hires and current employees.
Uniform Issuance: Distribute uniforms twice weekly to current employees receiving anniversary uniforms or those changing positions.
HR Support: Assist employees with direct deposit updates, W-4s, uniform distribution, complaints, and other HR-related inquiries.
Data & System Management: Enter new hires in the payroll system, clock system, and verify start dates via E-Verify.
Orientation & Compliance: Conduct new hire orientation, review electronic policy signings, and ensure proper documentation via Adobe software.
Administrative Duties: Manage uniforms, name badges, recruitment office supplies, and maintain employee profiles in the system.
Record Keeping: Utilize Excel spreadsheets to track job orders and hiring progress.
Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with the HR Manager and be prepared to assist in full-circle HR duties when needed.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years in HR and at least 1 year in recruitment.
Software Knowledge: Familiarity with ADP, Ascentis (or UKG) preferred; experience with other payroll or timekeeping systems will be considered.
Skills: Strong communication with managers, supervisors, and employees. Ability to type 45+ WPM, scan documents, and use office equipment (fax, computer, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in Spanish or American Sign Language.
Work Ethic: Must be a proactive team player, capable of handling high call volumes and multitasking in a busy environment.
Other tasks may be given by HR Mgr/Project Mgr.
$21.78 per hour Plus Fringe Benefit pay of $4.98 per hour (not enrolled in medical plan or $2.02 per hour if enrolled in a medical plan) This information will be explained during interview to include all other benefits such as vacation pay, and holiday pay.
Must have a vehicle with a valid driver license to travel to recruiting office and job fairs.
