About us: | PlumpJack Wine & Spirits’ boutique wine shop spans two locations in the city of San Francisco. The original Marina location was established in 1992 as our flagship store specializing in an expansive collection of wines from around the world, including rare library wines for the discerning buyer and collector. In recent years, PlumpJack Wine & Spirits has embarked on close partnerships with American Whiskey distillers to produce barrel selections branded exclusively for PlumpJack Wine & Spirits. With an offering of 9+ clubs for wine, spirits, champagne and beer, there is a club to suit all enthusiasts. Both stores are highly regarded for their selection of wine; spirits; domestic and imported beer; sparkling wine; and liqueurs.

Purpose of the role:
| To help ensure the smooth and efficient operational procedures within the stores, enabling the highest level of customer service. To train and develop store staff as is relates to customer service, operations, store and company policies and product knowledge. To maintain inventory levels in partnership with wine/beer buyer. Must be passionate about service and delivering above expectations for the customer and must be independently productive, self-motivated, and have proven leadership ability. This position requires wearing many hats and having a can-do attitude is a must.

Working Conditions: | Works primarily indoors throughout shift in clean, well-lit retail store environment with multiple floors. May be exposed to outside conditions while restocking merchandise and handling trash. Stands/walks approximately 80% of shift. Sits at desk or in meetings approximately 20% of shift. |
Physical Demands: | Stands and walks short distances throughout shift. Frequently required to handle and move objects weighting up to 50lbs. over short distance. Reaches, lifts, bends and stoops to perform routine job tasks. Frequent use of stairs, daily. Use of phones, computer and cash register, daily. Flexibility required to work long, sometimes irregular hours. |
